Join Independent Living, Inc. as our Director of Marketing and Fund Development, as well as an integral member of our Leadership Team. As Marketing and Fund Development Director, this is your opportunity to create and lead the branding of the Company. This position is instrumental in the success of the Company through the implementation of marketing strategies! Our clients include the elderly and disabled population throughout Dane County, as well as our residents within our senior housing and independent living communities in Madison, Wisconsin. Promote community awareness of products and services via Public Relations, Social Media, Publications, Networking, Fund Raising and Website Development. Establish relationships with key strategic partners. Target new and existing markets; plan and implement marketing, fund development and donor programs. Develop and manage operating budgets and fund development activities including grants, direct mail, fundraising events, planned gifts, bequests and donor stewardship.

Bachelors Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business or equivalent work experience is required; BA/BS combined with professional track record in marketing and fund-development a plus. Proven skills in marketing, sales, public relations, project management, staffing and managing volunteer resources is critical. Experience in website development, vendor relations, fund raising, social media relations and budgeting is also critical. A minimum of five years related experience with progressive managerial and supervisory responsibilities is required. As a member of the leadership team, demonstrate strong communications, customer service, time management, scheduling, organization, training and problem-solving skills.
