Evening Meals On Wheels: Nutritious Dinner Delivered To Your Door | Print |
Volunteer Michael Baer has delivered Evening Meals on Wheels for over 15 years.   Independent Living, Inc.'s Evening Meals on Wheels Program is proud to have earned Exemplary Magnet Accreditation from The Meals on Wheels Association of America in Spring, 2010.  Just three other organizations in the country have received this prestigious honor!
The achievement shows our dedication to quality nutrition; in support of your temporary or extended needs, with chef-prepared meals made fresh daily in our Madison-based kitchen and menus reviewed by our Registered Dietitian partners with U.W. Health.
Volunteers greatly support our program, the only one in Dane County, delivering more than 200 hot dinners to residents each night.  Every meal is also freshly packed by Independent Living's kitchen staff and corps of volunteers.

Evening Meal Example:  An entree (meat and potato, rice, or pasta), salad or vegetable, bread and a dessert.  Beverages are not included.*
