Home Share & Home Share Plus
Our Home Share Program carefully matches you with an individual who lives in your home to provide companionship and assistance, excluding hands-on personal care. This unique independent living option allows you to remain in your home while also having the reassurance of another adult who can be a friend and help with light housekeeping.
Home Share Plus provides you with a higher level of care than Home Share. The basic concept remains the same plus you receive additional services including help with mobility challenges, bathing, medication management and other options. Screening Process
Creating a successful home owner/client relationship with a new home share/companion requires careful efforts by our program team, who interviews and screens every applicant. Matches are based on location, compatability and service needs and can begin on a trial basis. If the both parties choose to move forward with a more permanent arrangement, our program team draws up a service agreement, which outlines expectations and responsibilites and is signed by all involved. Our staff provides periodic check-ins throughout the duration of the agreement.
